Bishop Grimes Music with  Mrs. Williams

Chorus is a full year course and meets every day. Students sing in three and four part harmony. They learn solfege, breathing techniques, posture, and clarity of words. It is important to also learn singing techniques such as balance and tone.  Students learn songs in many languages and from many cultures. We not only work on learning a song, but also how to listen and make the audience feel like they are listening to a story. Chorus also sings for the school masses. Our concert dates are December 18th and May 14th. Music & Arts Showcase is March 7th. Graduation is June 14th.  To pass this course you must attend these events. Please keep these dates in mind when you are making plans. 

​We have a few students trying out for All-County chorus this year at the Junior and Senior level. This is another way our students can connect with other schools and our community.
